For my NPR-Style Audio Story, I made a podcast style news story and wrote a story on the beginning of the High School baseball season in the Memphis area. I spoke with ECS Baseball Head Coach, Duke Williams, and Junior third baseman, Kyle Mabie, on their thoughts following opening weekend.
Video Documentary
For my Video Documentary, I talked to two AAU basketball coaches for the Memphis War Eagles. James Heathcoat, Head Coach of the Memphis War Eagles 7th grade team shared about what it means to be a War Eagle and what he was looking forward to the rest of this season. Former Memphis State Small Forward, Rodney Newsom, talked about his basketball career and what led him to coaching the 8th grade War Eagles. I also wrote a story on their thoughts on "AAU culture".

For my Photo Slideshow, I took pictures at a new mom-and-pop shop, Graz'n Tables, to show everything that they had to offer. I talked with the owner, Chelsea Barringer, about why she decided to open the shop. I also talked with employee, Nick Cici, about what working at Graz'n Tables is like and what all goes into being an employee there.
